Americanism Committee Objectives
The BPO Elks is a distinctively American organization – one of our many goals is to quicken the spirit of American patriotism in our Community and in our Youth, and to stimulate an awareness — a genuine feeling of pride and respect toward our great Nation, its history, and our Flag.
The NJSEA will once again be holding the Americanism Challenge, please print up the entry sheet and keep track of all your Americanism Programs and Activities. On March 15th send your entry form to your District Chairs, the lodge with the highest amount of recorded items will receive a recognition plaque at the Summer Convention in Wildwood. Any District Chair with 100% participation will also be recognized.
As Elks it is our duty to promote the spirit of Patriotism.... Always wear an American Flag pin on your lapel!
