Kudos to District Chairman Mike Dadetto PER (Parades) –these Kudos are long overdue – last June, the SED achieved 100% Lodge participation in the Wildwood parade under Mike’s leadership; however, the Kudos Korner was not included until the August issue, and this achievement was never acknowledged… I am happy to report that all Lodges are on board once again, and we have 4 Parade Marshals as well. Way to go!

Kudos to District Chairman Pete D’Antoni PER (Drug Awareness) – for attaining 100% participation in the walk out, raising $10,393.00 for next year’s Peer Leadership (and breaking last year’s record amount). Great job!

Kudos to District Chairman Bryon Masterson PER (Special Children) – for holding another successful District Fund Raider, the $1.98 Beauty Pageant… Although I’ll never look at some these dedicated Elks the same way, we all had a great time, and raised $744 for Camp Moore. Participating Lodges also shared a portion of the proceeds. Rumor has it that the Southeast District SCC will win the State VP Challenge…. Double Kudos Bryon; your commitment is inspirational!

Kudos to District Chairman George Zeigler PER and PVP Bill Caufield and their expert team of Can Shakers for collecting over $20,000 for the Polar Plunge charities over a weekend, with the gracious help of Safer Shoprite Stores. Excellent!
